When 5 Stars Won't Do There Is Always 7

Luxury Stays

So with a plane ticket in hand and an insatiable desire to reside in hotels not commonly stayed in, It was just a matter of time before I would find my way to the door of the most luxurious hotel on the planet. Dubai's impressive and undoubtedly well-known 7-star hotel The Burj Al Arab, located in the heart of Jumeira beach.

My taxi pulled up in front of a magnificent blue and white building uniquely resembling an enormous sail.

"Welcome to the Burj Al Arab sir," the concierge quaintly stated as he opened my car door and began to retrieve my luggage. As I entered the glass entryway, three uniquely dressed staff members immediately gave me a superb greeting. Prepping me for what would be a fantastic stay at this luxurious juggernaut of hotels

The dramatic lobby interior was like nothing I've seen in any hotel, and I couldn't help but notice the large golden funnels on each side of the lobby which would house a very accommodating concierge staff.

I entered my suite with great delight; and viewed one of the most interestingly designed suites I have seen to this date. Colorful in appearance it's grand entryway was spectacular. A loft of distinct beauty.

In any other case, the bold colors could be construed as almost gaudy, but the brilliant designers indeed placed its beauty in the right perspective, and the adjustment was quickly received. Small talk with the staff ensued, and I remember thinking "wow I am in a 7-star hotel….. I mean this decadent gift to myself in my travels wasn't going to land me in the poorhouse, and it wasn't like I was going to be doing this on an everyday basis, so why not.

It's one of the reasons I urge my readers to live a little if you have it, take a brief plunge into the blissful and when it's all said and done you will thank yourself for the full experience.

My butlers came in shortly after the floor check-in and introduced themselves they informed me that snacks would be brought to my room throughout the day, an added service to an already overly satisfied guest…but I'll take it.

She then offered to unpack my bags, a service I later found was standard -yes, they actually pack and unpack your suitcases for you. I certainly didn't see that coming it was a service I found to be very accommodating but a bit unnecessary for me.

A completed tour of my suite was given, and it's beauty continued to astound me, from the massive jacuzzi tub, the inspirational personal gifts, and customizable pillows.. as stated in earlier Jurrasic Park film it was pretty clear they spared no expense. the staff was inviting with there hospitality completing the brief comb of my suite, and they left.

"What's next," I thought after unpacking my bags while still taking in the visually inspiring room. I had to see the rest of this scenic wonder for myself…. and I darted from my room like an eager child in a toy store to experience the rest.
