The Great Jumeirah Bask

I visited Dubai for the first time in 2008; my brief tour of Jumeirah Al Qasr moved me so much that I wasted no time making it the first Luxury hotel I would reside in abroad.

Superior on all levels, from the golden stallions that strategically run wild on the exterior courtyard of the hotel's entrance to The massive, intricately crafted pillars that flood the front of this well-designed hotel.

Before you enter its doors, one of the most attractive items on the property is a magnificently designed fountain with chess-piece-like stallions projecting from this masterfully constructed centerpiece, a terrific addition to this luxury site that further captures your attention on the way to its grand entrance.

This 5-star property pampers you with a feeling of extreme distinction from the private check-in and check-out area, the dramatic tiled floors that grace the entrance level, and, of course, the general attention received by the staff once you've entered the property.

There is always a collection of exotic cars parked out front that could make some A-list movie stars blush, and The team's excellent appearance and unique attire add to the scenic ambiance of this Jumeirah Palace.

It was quite refreshing that the entrance of each hall leading to the residence had staff graciously poised for your security and convenience. The maze of hallways leading to your door will be instantly simplified with immediate assistance if needed.

When your door opens (after you close your mouth from an awe-inspiring moment), you will see that the spectacular rooms are designed for total comfort. At check-in, I wasted no time by immediately requesting a suite with a grand view of the Burj Al Arab, arguably the world's most luxurious hotel. It's no wonder both hotels are fortunate enough to have the same management company. The location they accommodated me with made the seven-star appear as if it were superimposed in the background, leaving me in a perpetual gaze in the day or night.

Beautiful palm trees are masterfully placed throughout the property around the flowing canals, with small boats to take you to your destination.

Phenomenal exclusive restaurants, such as the renowned Pier Chic, boutiques, and other luxury shops, are abundant on this property, creating an impeccable aesthetic.

If you doubt this is the perfect vacation spot while visiting the UAE, I hope my words will dispel them. Trust me when I say that Jumeirah Al Qasr is genuinely exceptional and will make for a stellar all-inclusive stay that will set the standard for all luxury hotels you visit anywhere in the world, certainly an asset to Jumeira's mighty line of hotels in this Arabic universe.
