The story

Europe

Europe is a continent measured in centuries, yet it remains astonishingly alive. It is where Gothic cathedrals stand around the corner from Michelin-starred kitchens, and where a Roman road can lead you to a café serving third-wave coffee. Italy alone contains the ruins of an empire, the Renaissance art of Florence, the canals of Venice, and the volcanic coasts of the south. France moves from the boulevards of Paris to the lavender fields of Provence and the Alpine peaks of Chamonix. Spain and Portugal offer sun-drenched plazas, Moorish palaces, and Atlantic surf. Germany, the Netherlands, and the Scandinavian countries combine civic elegance with design-forward thinking and deep historical conscience. The United Kingdom and Ireland wrap myth, literature, and green landscapes into one layered experience, while Eastern Europe, from the Czech Republic to Hungary, Ukraine to Greece, reveals a different but equally rich inheritance of empires, revolutions, and resilience. Europe rewards the slow traveller: the one who lingers over a breakfast pastry, who walks the side streets, who lets the centuries settle in. It is small enough to cross quickly and deep enough to spend a lifetime exploring.
